ProposedÂ
LUXURY HOTEL AT NOOSA SPRINGS
The owner and operator of Noosa Springs has submitted a development application to Noosa Council for a proposed luxury hotel. The hotel will be seamlessly integrated with the existing clubhouse, day spa and fitness centre, enhancing the resorts premium offerings. A decision from Council is expected soon.
The proposal includes:
- 69 luxury rooms
- A stylish restaurant and lounge bar
- Resort- style swimming pools set in lushly landscaped leisure areas
- Additional car parking
- A new tennis centre
Community Engagement
Late last year, well-attended public forums were held, giving the community a chance to engage directly with the developer’s representatives.Â
Revised Hotel Proposal
In response to further community consultation and feedback from Councillors, several key changes have been made to the proposed hotel development.
- Reduction in room numbers: One of the proposed buildings, containing 38 rooms, has been removed. Following this and another minor change, the total number of rooms in the hotel is now 69.
- Smaller swimming pools: The size of the swimming pools has been reduced substantially to allow for a greater emphasis on the vegetated landscape and natural environment.
- Upgrade tennis court: One of the tennis court enclosures has been enlarged to International Tennis Federation standards.
- Landscaping: A significant increase of landscaped areas provides for passive recreation and a greater focus of the hotel on the natural environment.
